PLANTS AND FRUIT
Over the last few year we have been developing a soft fruit and plant growing enterprise, in conjunction with the bed and breakfast business. We have 2000 strawberry runners of 3 types and 4 different varieties of raspberry amounting to 1200 canes. This mix of varieties is intended to extend the length of the picking season. The season for the strawberries should be June to August, and for the raspberries July-November, but will depend on the weather conditions at the time.
We sell our fruit at the local markets of Rostrenen (Tuesday), Callac (Wednesday), Mellionnec (Friday evening) and Carhaix (Saturday), as well as direct from our property, either ready picked or you can pick your own.

In addition we have erected 2 small poly tunnels to enable us to over winter our less hardy perennials plants, aid the early production of bedding plants and give us a broad variety of home grown vegetables, for our own use as well as for our table d'hote, available to guests staying with us.
We are able to offer, for sale from our premises, a variety of bedding plants, vegetable seedlings, herb plants and a good selection of perennials (click here for a full list of the plants we are growing). As we grow all the plants here the availability of the plants will depend on the time of year and the weather.
You are welcome to come and look round, to see what we have in stock at any time and taste the fruit when available.
